Tea and Caffeine

Caffeine is a mild stimulant, it is naturally exists in tea, so tea is a relaxing and refreshing drink. Compared with coffee, tea has a small amount of caffeine. Besides, different tea caffeine content is also different.

In all teas, white tea has the least caffeine content, while the black tea has the highest content. But it should also consider the amount of tea used. Due to less processing, a spoonful of white tea may contain as much caffeine as one teaspoon of black tea. Compared with green tea or black tea, the amount of tea needed for brewing white tea (weight) is less.

Note: The content of caffeine will be different due to different production conditions, but the content value is approximately similar.
